Q&A with Carey

Why did you become a physical therapist?

I have always been interested in the medical field and how the human body functions. In addition, I have always been very active, and I really enjoy people. PT was the perfect combination of all the above.

What can patients expect when they see you in the clinic?

Patients can expect a provider who wants to truly understand who they are and what their goals are. I will be compassionate yet analytical to help identify the cause and how to best treat their concerns.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

I like to spend time with my family, exercise, cook, and travel.

What are your favorite ways of staying healthy?

I try to stay healthy by exercising, eating “fairly” healthy, and take quiet time for myself as I am able.

Where is your hometown?

Ham Lake, MN

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A marine biologist

What is your favorite thing about living in Minnesota?

The four seasons and the North Shore
