Heather joined Saunders Therapy Centers in 2024. She graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA.

She comes to Saunders with a background in all ages and abilities. As a student physical therapist, she gained experience in acute care, outpatient orthopedics, and pediatrics. After graduating, she began her career working in nursing homes and geriatric home health but for the past 5 years, she has worked with children in their homes, preschools, and hospitals. These experiences have helped her view clients holistically which she believes is the key to success in rehabilitation services.

Recently, she has enriched her patient care experience by expanding into pelvic health, including the treatment of incontinence and pelvic pain conditions for all genders.

In her free time, she enjoys getting outside with her kids and going to concerts.
