Saunders’ mission is to identify and maximize the work-related functional abilities of those injured on the job. Communication is a hallmark of our service. We work closely with the client, physician, Qualified Rehabilitation Counselor (QRC), case manager, insurance adjuster, and employer to fully understand the unique requirements of each case.

We need a full time physical or occupational therapist to join our Saint Paul Industrial Rehabilitation team. The perfect candidate has orthopedic and/or traumatic brain injury treatment experience, with a focus on functional rehabilitation and return to work. Experience in pain neuroscience education and motivational interviewing are a bonus. Though the job is primarily with the industrial team, there is also an optional opportunity to provide traditional PT care for orthopedic and/or pelvic health clients, up to 20%.

We are pending transition to ESOP effective October 2021. Saunders Therapy Centers will be employee-owned. This is an exciting opportunity for a direct financial benefit from our continued growth and success.

Job Duties

* Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations using the Saunders Method – We Train in Our Method
* Perform Work Hardening/Work Conditioning Evaluations
* Design and supervise client return-to-work programs
* Collaborate with onsite team, consisting of PT, OT, PTA
* Work with QRCs, Case managers, Physicians, and Employers to coordinate successful return to work
* Write detailed narrative reports – excellent writing skills required – must be concise, yet thorough
* Compose weekly written progress reports; phone coordination as necessary
* Participate in Weekly team meetings

* OPTIONAL: Provide care for traditional outpatient ortho or pelvic health clients a few hours per week.
