Joined Saunders: 2023

Miranda joined Saunders Therapy Centers in April of 2023 at our Maple Grove location. She comes from a history of Chiropractic care, Personal Care Assistance and Special Education Paraprofessional work…she has a servant’s heart. The favorite part of her job is being a bridge that helps clients get the care that they need to get back to the best version of themselves they can be! She is always ready to greet clients and looks forward to bearing witness to hundreds of success stories!

When she’s not at Saunders, you can usually catch her at Allianz field with a 10×10 foot flag or a megaphone in her hand at the Minnesota United soccer games! She also loves spending time with her family, friends and her doxie “Prince” named after the Minnesota Music Legend.

Q&A with Miranda

Why did you become a Medical Administrative Assistant?

I learned later in life that I had an interest in helping people in a clinical setting but didn’t think the schooling to be a provider was the best fit for me. I love being the first friendly face people see and making them feel welcome, as well as assisting providers with anything they need.

What can patients expect when they see you in the clinic?

A friendly smile and an open ear ready to help!

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

I’ve been a Minnesota United Football Club Season Ticket Holder since 2016. I’m a part of the supporter’s section that gets rowdy with flags, drums and chants for the full 90+ minutes!! Lots of my spare time is spent at Allianz Field or local partner bar for some kind of soccer focused event! As a member of True North Elite we also focus on giving back to the community through volunteer events and local partnerships. Aside from that I love sitting lake side or just on the patio with family.

What are your favorite ways of staying healthy?

  • Despite my weak will power, I love thinking of food as fuel for my body!
  • I sometimes struggle to practice what I preach, but ½ your body weight in oz of water each day is so beneficial!
  • I love lifting weights! I do *just* enough cardio to get my heart rate going and I could lift forever!

Where is your hometown?

Friendly Fridley, MN

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a dentist…but then I got my first cavity filled. I also wanted to be a daycare provider at one point.

What is your favorite thing about living in Minnesota?

I love our 11,842 Lakes (mostly in the summer)! Being so close to a lake anywhere you are makes for a great time relaxing, paddle boarding or even fishing.
