Medical Administrative Assistant
Saunders Therapy Centers, Inc. is an employee-owned, outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy practice with sub-specialties in orthopedics, pelvic health, TMJ treatment, vestibular/balance disorders, and Industrial Rehabilitation. We have three offices in the Twin Cities Metro: Maple Grove, Saint Paul, and Bloomington.
We are seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant to work primarily in our Maple Grove office. The perfect candidate is also required to occasionally cover for coworkers in other clinics out on vacation or illness.

Job Duties
- Creating client accounts, handling physician referrals, and gather and verify insurance in Clinicient EMR system (will train!)
- Appointment scheduling; greeting, checking in, and rooming clients.
- Cleaning clinic rooms, equipment, and laundry
- Handling phones, voicemail, emails, and faxes. Documenting all correctly in electronic medical record.
- Performing detailed tasks to manage referral and appointment workflow for good communication with coworkers and referral sources, and to ensure accounts are billed correctly.
- Ensuring referrals are handled efficiently and correctly, patients are scheduled in a timely manner, and issues are communicated thoroughly and professionally.
- Ordering supplies and maintaining a clean and tidy office environment.
- Performing miscellaneous tasks related to typical workflow of a busy outpatient clinic.

Required qualifications:
High school diploma
Authorized to work in the US.
Wage: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
