Ty received his AAS Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from Tulsa Community College in Oklahoma in 2005. He is also a national NETA certified personal trainer and is active within the exercise community. Ty has been with Saunders since 2006 and is driven to help our clients achieve their optimal potential. He is knowledgeable in injury prevention and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with emphasis on orthopedic therapy. He plays an integral role in instructing clients how to maximize their functional development through work simulation activities.

Why did you become a physical therapist assistant?
I’m an avid gym goer and have a great skill set through exercise. It was a good fit to use this knowledge to help others improve their lives.
What can patients expect when they see you in the clinic?
My patients can expect that I will be attentive and actively working with them to improve their conditions.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?
I own an auto detailing company and detail vehicles on the weekends. I also workout at the gym and enjoy the gun range to hone my skills.
What are your favorite ways of staying healthy?
Weightlifting, meditation, visiting friends, and traveling.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be professional basketball player.
What is your favorite thing about living in Minnesota?
The summers are very nice here. There is plenty to do.
