Cyndi is originally from Michigan but has lived in Minnesota most of her life. She graduated from Saint Catherine’s University with her Bachelors in occupational science in 2013 and Master’s in occupational therapy in 2015. Prior to this, she received two degrees from Saint Paul College: AAS in personal training and massage therapy. She has over 5 years of experience as a chiropractic assistant and has been specializing in chronic pain for the last 9 years as an OT in an outpatient setting.

Cyndi joined Saunders following her aspiration to be involved with industrial rehab and work hardening. She is passionate about working with individuals that desire to return to work and improve their quality of life.  She prides herself on her ability to create trusting relationships with patients while maintaining utmost professionalism.

Outside of work Cyndi enjoys listening to audiobooks, cabin life, dog walks, playing games, and thrifting with her daughter.

 

Q&A with Cyndi

Why did you become an OT?

I wanted to work in healthcare with a holistic approach. My background in personal training and massage therapy combined well to enter the field of therapy.

What can patients expect when they see you in the clinic?

Patients can expect being treated with respect and feel their needs are being prioritized. Patients will feel my sincere desire to improve their quality of life, with a side of laughter.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy walking my springers, photography, cooking, golfing, and thrifting.

What are your favorite ways of staying healthy?

Eating the rainbow and daily walks.

Where is your hometown?

Detroit, Michigan

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An architect.

What is your favorite thing about living in Minnesota?

Appreciating the beauty that each season holds.
