We truly appreciate it!
Saunders Therapy Centers is a provider for nearly all local private health plans, state and federal government plans, and worker’s compensation plans.
We will verify benefits and coverage and any special requirements for referrals or authorizations prior to your appointment. We’ll do the best we can to help make sure that physical therapy services at Saunders are covered by your plan. We also encourage you to check with your insurance provider ahead of time to make sure you understand your coverage.
Here are some of the insurance plans we participate in:
Yes, we are happy to bill your insurance directly for all services. Because many insurance plans do not pay for supplies, we do not bill insurance for supplies your physical therapist might recommend (e.g., exercise bands, balls, or supports). We will assist you in obtaining reimbursement for any supplies by providing you with a receipt that you can submit.
We collect all copays at the time of service. If you have coinsurance or a deductible, you will receive a statement in the mail, and we ask for payment upon receipt.
Saunders Therapy Centers has very attractive self-pay rates that are based on the length of visit. Call for more information.
In Minnesota, you are able to self-refer to a physical therapist and receive care for up to 90 days before needing a physician's order. Our physical therapists are highly skilled at evaluating your musculoskeletal injury and are happy to coordinate care with your physician if you want them to, or if they see a problem that needs a physician's attention.
Some insurance plans require a physician’s order before they will pay for physical therapy services. Give us a call and we can help you determine the requirements for your specific plan.
In addition to medical doctors, other health care providers that refer to physical therapy include nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, chiropractors, and dentists.
