Jenna is an important provider on our Maple Grove Industrial Rehab team. She obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in 2017. She loves helping our clients regain function with her bubbly and supportive attitude.
Her background before joining Saunders includes neuro-rehabilitation, fascial counterstrain, and exercise prescription for geriatric and general orthopedic clients. Jenna has lived in between Wisconsin and Minnesota through her whole life and considers herself a “Minnesconsite” with Stillwater, Duluth, and Woodbury, MN being her favorite cities to visit.
In her spare time, she likes hanging out with her closest friends and family, trying new restaurants and things to do around the cities, going on adventures, and having a few relaxing weekends at home.
Q&A with Jenna
Why did you become a physical therapist assistant?
I knew from a young age that I wanted to have a helpful career. After shadowing different healthcare careers, I decided to go into physical therapy with motivation to help people keep their active lifestyles as long as possible in their lifetime.
What can patients expect when they see you in the clinic?
I usually have a helpful, bubbly personality that overlaps with physical therapy interventions that I will be guiding you through.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?
I love being with friends and family. Also, I love going for a good hike, getting fresh air, or even resting and going to a cute coffee shop.
What are your favorite ways of staying healthy?
Multiple evenings I go for a walk, cook healthy meals, and my sisters and I do zoom calls one day a week to do a dance workout.
Where is your hometown?
Glenwood City, Wisconsin
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to work in the physical therapy discipline.
What is your favorite thing about living in Minnesota?
I love the balance between outdoors and city vibes that Minnesota provides. Around the cities, I enjoy the multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and city parks.
