Kera has been an occupational therapist for 10 years, with vast experience working with people ages 1-101.

She received an MS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Oklahoma and spent much of her career working in a hospital setting helping patients return home safely after severe injury, surgery, or illness. She loves living in her home state of MN, where she and her husband have family connections. They love raising their two adventure-loving children. In many areas her passions include exploring, creating, and connecting.

Why did you become an Occupational Therapist?

The appeal of the functional and creative components of helping people of all ages become more functional and independent.

What can patients expect when they see you in the clinic?

I seek to learn and understand, so that I can push you towards your goal

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

Hike, travel, try new foods/restaurants.

What are your favorite ways of staying healthy?

Hiking/walking, moving around with my children!

Where is your hometown?

North Minneapolis

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A massage therapist, then a physical therapist.

What is your favorite thing about living in Minnesota?

I love the variety of available experiences and explorations.
