Amy Prose is a highly experienced physical therapist with more than 20 years in practice, specializing in orthopedics and lower extremity biomechanics. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University and has been a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist for over 18 years.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Amy brings 7 years of management experience, with a strong focus on clinical documentation and compliance, project management, and delivering exceptional customer service along with leading teams, optimizing clinical operations, and driving quality and consistency in patient care.

Outside of her professional work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family. She is married with two daughters, and together they love being on the lakes in Minnesota, traveling, and watching basketball.

 

Q&A with Amy

Why did you become a physical therapist?

I was drawn to PT after having PT myself throughout high school.  I wanted to be part of a profession that helped people through injuries and return to their lives.

What can patients expect when they see you in the clinic?

Someone who wants to help!

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

Spending time with my family, watching sports, traveling.

What are your favorite ways of staying healthy?

Anything outdoors and I have a Peloton that I love.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A ballet dancer or an orthopedic surgeon

What is your favorite thing about living in Minnesota?

The summers!
